OTC’s
line of unique products and solutions continues
with the new EzyLINK radio. The EzyLINK combines
a full-featured 11 Mbps Wireless Internetworking
Polling Protocol (WIPP) based radio terminal
with your choice of a 9 or 15dBi integrated antenna,
as well as an option for an external/detachable
antenna, all in a single compact case. All of which
allow for easy installation and faster, more stable
connections. EzyLINK based terminals will enjoy
network access at distances up to twice that ofstandard
fixed antenna solutions.
Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this weatherproof
EzyLINK is able todraw power from Cat-5 Ethernet
cable. This ensures that power is available where
you need it, without the need for expensive electrical
work often associated with outdoor installations.
ISPs can use the EzyLINK to extend the range of
their WIPP based network infrastructure, increasing
the number potential customers without adding any
more coverage locations in the often complex MTU/MDU
and residential market segments. Similarly, enterprise
customers and educational institutions can employ
the EzyLINK radios to deliver connectivity to more
buildings and locations, maximizing the use of installed
access points throughout the campus. The EzyLINK
is compatible with any operating system, requires
no drivers, and is fully Plug-and-Play compliant.
